About: Aditya began his PhD in January 2024 after completing a master’s degree in Europe. His PhD project uses large-eddy simulations to parameterise how turbulent motions change with convection, a scenario typical of the daytime atmosphere .

About: Yanan joined the team in early 2024 after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney. Her PhD project uses wind tunnel experiment to investigate models for turbulent mixing in the atmosphere above forest canopies.
